Red Spice Road is getting a face lift! The January renovation has been in planning for some time with every detail from the building exterior to air-conditioning, floors, tables and seating, colour schemes and kitchens included in the $1 million dollar refurbishment.
Executive Chef John McLeay, restaurant General Manager Mark Matthews and the business owners have worked with an architectural and interior design team to come up with a great new look and improved dining experience. The kitchen team are also working on a new menu and promise some exciting new additions to accompany the restaurant re-launch in late January.
We’re all excited to be commencing Red Spice Road’s makeover. It has been in planning for a long time” said restaurant owner Andrew Cameron. “When we re-open in late January you can expect to see an exciting new venue exterior and interior, a brand new kitchen, new private dining rooms and an exciting new menu. Of course the old favourites like Chef John McLeay’s famous pork belly will remain” he said.
Sister restaurants, Red Spice QV on Artemis Lane, Burma Lane on Little Collins Street and Meat Fish Wine, Artemis Lane will remain open throughout the Red Spice Road renovation. More information, new restaurant photographs and the new menu will be available in January.
